About the Online Bible
Now on version 3.00 the Online Bible contains over 600 Mb of biblical resources on one CD-Rom including over 30 Bibles English Bibles (with 3 alternative New King James equivalents and 6 unlockable modern versions including the NIV and NRSV) and another 400 from around the world in 35 other languages and dozens of other works including commentaries, dictionaries, Hebrew/Greek, Strong’s, Concordance, and more. Includes 10 ancient texts: 4 Greek, Hebrew, Vulgate in Latin and English, Greek and English Septuagints, Syriac Peshitta.
The program contains hundreds of megabytes of Biblical material including 20 Dictionaries, 45 commentaries and more than 350 Devotional, Theological, Historical and Creationist books
as well as a set of Bible maps that total over £600 in value. Like other Bible study programs, it includes many classic works such as: Strong’s numbers and definitions, Thompson Chain topics, Bible maps and charts, Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, Easton’s Bible Dictionary, as well as over a dozen English translations of the Bible and even an interlinear Greek-English New Testament.
What sets this program apart, however, are the numerous resources that few Bible software programs contain, such as creation science, apologetics and archeological material. Further, some of the program’s resources are not included with any other program, such as John Gill’s mammoth 10 million word exposition of the Bible (worth £100 on its own), Gill’s one million word Body of Divinity, and others such as John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress. It is this collection of resources that makes this program such a valuable tool for the serious student of God’s Word.
Now faster than ever the newest version of the Online Bible is a true 32-bit version (Windows95/98/Me/2000/NT/XP) of the old 16-bit version 7.1 (Windows 3.1), and is still compatible with both PC and MAC (a separate product) systems.
For any selected verse, you can simply use the click of a mouse button to view all of the cross-references for selected verses or choose a commentary for more in-depth study. It even includes an unaccented Greek text and an unpointed Hebrew text. You can search any version or reference work for words or phrases, including the Greek and Hebrew texts!
